The
              Little Dickens Band
            (Old-Fashioned Christmas Carols)

As
the duo The Little Dickens Band, Anne and Rob play winter
holiday music of the British Isles from the time of Charles
Dickens and Queen Victoria, as well as old standard holiday fare.
They enjoy presenting these beloved songs in unusual and older settings
with flute, guitar, pennywhistle, concertina, dulcimer and voices.
Anne and Rob can appear in period costume and can provide entertainment
for concerts, receptions and parties. Music selections are lively
arrangements of old favorites including Masters in This Hall, The
Holly and the Ivy, Greensleeves, Joy to the World, God Rest Ye Merry,
and The Grampound Wassail. The Little Dickens Band has produced
a cassette tape of old-fashioned Christmas carols. A Christmas
Stocking Stuffer was recorded in Michigan at the Troy Historical
Museum and the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm.

              NEW!
              "MUSIC
                FROM DAVY JONES' LOCKER"
              Selections inspired by the
tales of pirates and swashbuckling seafarers by Anne & Rob
Burns as The Little Dickens Band

Anne
and Rob Burns feature songs and tunes suggested by the stories
of Horatio Hornblower, Jacky “Bloody Jack” Faber,
Jack Sparrow, and others set in the changing times that have launched
so many imaginative books and films–the Golden Age of Piracy,
the American Revolution, and the heyday of the British Royal Navy.
This rollicking, rolling music of the high seas and lowlands will
set your foot tapping. But don’t rock the boat!
              "Music From Davy Jones' Locker"
premiered at the Detroit Institute of Arts to an audience of mixed
                ages.
